To call a painting a mosaic, it must consist of elements. Professionally they are called tesserae. They may differ only in shape, but more often they contrast with each other in colour or texture. The spaces between the elements are filled with grout. For us, this is often a very important part of a mosaic. Sometimes it is even more important than the elements. This is because we have an innovative approach to mosaics. In some of our projects it is the grout that plays the first fiddle and creates the graphic drawing, while the tile elements form the background.

Mosaics come in the form of coverings or images: abstract or representational. The images can be permanently fixed to the surface of the wall, or they can be a decoration that can be hung and removed from the wall like a standard painting.
Mosaic covering can cover an entire wall or just a section of it. It can take any shape, for example an inscription.
Mosaic is a decoration that works well with architecture. It can adapt to the space and highlight its assets. In addition, it is resistant to adverse weather conditions such as low temperatures, precipitation, or intense sunlight. Therefore, it is also ideal for outdoor use. It works successfully as a decoration and at the same it will protect the façade or will become a unique accent in the garden.
